Mr.Wang Yuhui was born in 1959 in Yunnan province. In 1983, he finished his studies of printmaking in Yunnan Art Acacemy, and after his graduation, he worked in Yunnan Publishing House during 20 years. From 1996, he began teacher of Yunnan Art Academy. Mr. Wang Yuhui is member of Chinese printmakers' Association, member of Chinese Artists' Association.

 

Exhibitions:

1984 Print<Hello, the sun> was shown in the 6^th National Art Exhibition, and also in this year, two prints attended the Yunnan Printmaking Exhibition in Australia.

1986 Print <On this peace land> was shown in the 9^th National Art Exhibition

1987 print <Childen¡¯s happiness> was shown in the Chinese Contemporary Printmaking Exhibition in Japan, and this print was published in the catalog of this exhibition. Three prints were collected by Aioi city of Japan.

1990 11 prints were shown in the exhibition <Yunnan's Secret-Printmaking Exhibition>, Taiwan

1992 print <Nest> was shown in the Chinese contemporary Printmaking Exhibition, USA

8 prints were shown in the Chinese Contemporary Printmaking Exhibition, Hong Kong

8 heavy-color painting were published in the English edition of the magazine<Chinese Women>, and the magazine also introduced the artist.

1994 The book <Wang Yuhui's artworks collection> was published by Yunnan Art Publishing House, ISBN:7-80586-046-8/J.25.

1994 Solo exhibition in Zurich Grand Gallery, Switzerland. And also in this year, 4 heavy-color were shown in the International Art Fair of Basel.

1995 Solo exhibition in the hall of Singapore Commerce Chamber, Singapore.

1996 15 heavy-color paintings were shown in the Yunnan Heavy-color Painting Exhibition, San Francisco, USA. And also in this year, 8 paintings were shown in the International Art Expo, New York.

1988 4 heavy-color paintings were shown in South-sea art center, San Francisco, USA

2000 woodcut <In door and out > was collected by Chinese Print Art Museum of Chengdu, China

2002 The traveling book <Angkor Wat> was published by the Yunnan People Publishing House, ISBN:7-222-03959-7.

2002 Solo exhibition of Wang Yuhui's 40 digital artworks were held in Yunnan Art Academy

2005 woodcut <Broken glasses no.1> was shown on the 17^th National Print Exhibition, and this woodcut was collected by Yunnan Art Museum in this year.

2006 more than 20 digital artworks were show in Chinese Artworks Exhibition invited by Milan municipality, Italy.
