Zhang Biao

Mr.Zhang Biao was born in 1971 in Nanyang city of Henan province, he began his art studies in Nanyang technical secondary school, Fine Art department in 1986. In 1990, he began to learn printmaking in Tianjin Fine Art Academy, printmaking department, and in 1996, he got the bachelor degree. In 2003, after some years's teaching in Nanyang city, he came back and became a postgraduate in Tianjin Fine Art Academy, and got the master degree, now he is teacher of this academy.

1998 etching <Autumn on plateau> won the copper prize on the "Henan province Fine Art Exhibition of art teachers>, Kaifeng city

2001 silkscreen <Flower charm> attended Henan province Fine Art Exhibition for celebrating 80 anniversaries of Chinese Communist Party's foundation.

Woodcut <Cold and Hot earth> won the outstanding prize in the 2^nd Nanyang city Exhibition

2003 etching <Big vision no.3> won the copper prize of the 4^th National Petrifaction Art Exhibition, Beijing

this print also won the copper prize of the 1^st National Pertrifaction Print Exhibition, Nanjing

2004 Litho <Disappearing Flower Time> attended the 10^th National Art Exhibition, Tianjing

etching <A bunch of Sunlight> was sent to Japan to attend a Print Exchange Exhibition between China and Japan.

2005 etching <Fang Fang> won the outstanding prize of the 17^th National Print Exhibition, Guiyang. The print was published on the collection <The 17^th Naional Print Exhibition>, page 059. ISBN 7-221-07186-1
